Speaker Bio
Levi Baldwin was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, Depression, and Absence Seizures at the age of 7. Levi learned to navigate life in a way most kids do not have to. Making constant noises and sounds and having uncontrollable movements and thoughts, Levi found it hard to fit in. But with the support of his parents and friends, Levi learned that his differences didn’t make him less than, they made him uniquely himself. Now an 8th grader in Clarkston MI Levi has traveled to multiple states to speak to classrooms and at conferences, he has advocated for research and funding with the Tourette Association Advocacy day in DC, and together with his mom he wrote an award winning children’s book called What Makes Me…Me. All so he can help educate communities on what Tourette Syndrome is and to help other kids like him feel less alone. Levi lives in Clarkston MI with his mom, dad, brother Gus, 2 cats Rosie and Sammy and his loyal service dog Loki. In his free time he enjoys playing video games and building Lego sets.
