Priya Riegle is 14 years old and in 9th grade. Priya enjoys swimming, track, soccer, music, and hanging out with her friends. She is the oldest child and sister of three brothers who all have TS. Priya became a Youth Ambassador for the TAA in 2024 and attended Tourette National Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., with her family. She has participated in a TAA webinar about living with siblings with TS and was a guest speaker at the NYC TAA cha'ter's annual mentoring brunch. Through her lived experience she has observed the impact of TS on not only her brothers but on her own life as well. She has learned and is learning to navigate and cope with the family challenges related to this diagnosis. This unique experience has helped shape Priya's perspective and has helped her to feel strongly about raising awareness about TS.
