Speaker Bio
Eden Shaw is a 17-year-old student from Potomac, Maryland, a student researcher, and an advocate for marginalized communities. She is the Founder and President of Speak2Youth Advocacy, an international student-led organization which works to develop confidence and advocacy skills in young students through interactive presentations, having impacted 500+ kids. She served as a 2024-2025 TAA Young Ambassador, representing the organization during Tourette National Advocacy Day. Eden presented at TIC-CON25 and later at a Tic & Talk event for middle schoolers with TS. She is a 2026 Yale Young Global Scholar and a Social Justice Fellow with Operation Understanding DC, studying civil rights history and contemporary inequities. As an intern for Delegate Wu, Eden researches local policy issues, authors policy papers, and assists with campaigns. Drawing from her lived experience with TS, her work centers on equity, accessibility, and representation.
