Dr. Hudson obtained his Bachelors of Science at Duke University before studying organic chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute – Scripps Florida, earning a Master of Arts. He then turned his focus to clinical medicine, obtaining a Special Master’s in Physiology at Georgetown University, before moving to Tampa to obtain his Doctor of Medicine, Psychiatry Residency training, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, all at the University of South Florida. He is a practicing Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, where he serves as the Medical Director of the Rothman Center of Pediatric Neuropsychiatry and the Program Director for the Fellowship. In addition to the treating the patients of today and training the clinicians of tomorrow, Dr. Hudson is a Principal Investigator for several investigational medications, including novel treatments for Tourette’s Disorder.
