Sebastian is a 10-year-old Tourette Association of America Youth Award recipient and Junior Youth Ambassador. He is passionate about raising awareness and helping others understand Tourette Syndrome (TS) through kindness and education, and by sharing his own experience with the condition. Sebastian began having TS symptoms at the age of 2 and was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 4. Sebastian has been diagnosed with the following co-occurring conditions: ADHD, ASD, and anxiety disorder.
He created the "Be Kind Pencil Initiative", distributing hundreds of pencils with messages that promote empathy and inclusion within his school community. Sebastian is dedicated to using his voice to help other kids feel accepted, confident, and proud of who they are.
