Laurie Rosenblum has TS and associated disorders. She was not diagnosed for 18 years until age 26. Her career has been in public health and mental health as a writer, editor, and producer of educational resources. She was very involved in the Massachusetts chapter of the TAA for a number of years as a board member, vice president, and co-president. In the 1990s she created and led a workshop at two national TAA conferences for adults with TS called “Sharing Your Tourette Experiences through Improvisational Movement Theater.” After leading it the first time, Darin Bush and Sherri Pruitt used Laurie’s model and led similar workshops for teens and for parents of children with TS while Laurie led the group for adults with TS. Laurie has also participated in and led small discussion groups at personal growth workshops. She lives in Boston and loves hiking and improvisational dance and theater.
