MJ Dunne (she/her), is the Research Operations Director for the Pacific Northwest Evidence-based Practice Center at Oregon Health & Science University, where she oversees multi-sponsor research portfolios that advance health equity, implementation science, and patient-centered care. She holds a master’s degree in health communication, and has more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of public health, health IT, and social justice, with a focus on how data, policy, and clinical practice can better serve communities who have been historically marginalized. MJ is also a person with Tourette Syndrome, and her work bridges formal research with lived experience, particularly around disability disclosure and stigma in healthcare and workplace settings. She currently serves as Co-Chair of OHSU’s Disability Employee Resource Group and is an active volunteer with several organizations serving marginalized and underrepresented communities.
