Shannon Floyd, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist and the owner of Floyd Pediatric Therapy & Intervention for Tic Disorders in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of clients with Tic Disorders and Tourette Syndrome, supported by advanced training in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). Before focusing on CBIT, Shannon spent 17 years providing pediatric occupational therapy services to children with sensory integration challenges and developmental delays across private schools, early intervention programs, and outpatient clinics. Since earning her CBIT certification in 2017, she has developed CBIT programs at Children’s Hospital New Orleans (Northshore Campus) and at Pediatric Therapy Northshore in Mandeville, Louisiana. After relocating to Tennessee in 2019, Shannon founded a telehealth-based CBIT practice serving clients statewide. She has presented for the Tourette Association of America, facilitated support groups, and volunteered in educational outreach. Shannon is currently a member of the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Tourette Syndrome Working Group
