Born in Hampton, Virginia, Emauni Crawley began her journey of leadership and advocacy as a Rising Leader Ambassador for the Tourette Association of America in 2024. Moreover, Crawley received the 2025 TAA Unsung Hero Award for her dedication and support towards those living with Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders. Today, she serves as a Behavioral Health Counselor with more than six years of experience supporting children and young adults through education, mentorship, and compassionate care. A proud graduate of Spelman College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Crawley has devoted her career to uplifting at-risk youth and individuals with disabilities. She exemplifies empathetic leadership, fostering empowerment through the principles of service, inclusion, and justice. Recently featured in an article on Medium by George Payne highlighting her inspiring story, Crawley continues to bridge theology and disability; creating spaces where every person is valued, included and able to thrive.
