Speaker Bio
Dr. Moroney is a clinical psychologist at Lurie Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. She provides clinical services to children with OCD, tic disorders, anxiety, and related conditions through the Lurie Children’s OCD/Anxiety Spectrum and Tic Disorders (COAST) program. Dr. Moroney is passionate about increasing access to evidence-based treatments for children and their families and her research focuses on creative ways of adapting and providing these services to reach broader audiences, particularly for children with tic disorders and OCD. She completed her graduate training at UCLA under Dr. Steve Lee, her predoctoral clinical internship at Stanford Children’s Hospital, and then a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric OCD, tic disorders, and anxiety at Weill Cornell Medicine under Dr. Avital Falk. Dr. Moroney is thrilled to be attending Tic-Con again this year!
