Kelly Watson, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She serves as a Co-Director of the Vanderbilt Center for Tourette Syndrome and Other Tic Disorders where she specializes in providing Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) to children, adolescents, and adults. In May 2025, Dr. Watson was awarded a K23 grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to support her research on the social difficulties experienced by many adolescents with Tourette syndrome. Her work focuses on identifying modifiable risk factors, such as social cognitive skills, that could be targeted in clinical interventions to enhance resilience and improve clinical outcomes.
