This interactive workshop invites elementary students to explore their experiences with Tourette Syndrome (TS) through storytelling. In a supportive environment, kids will learn how stories express who we are, celebrate our strengths, and teach others about our lives. The session begins with the presenter reading her book that explains TS through simple rhymes, highlighting how everyone’s journey is unique. Students will then be guided through creative prompts to help them shape their own story-whether it's about challenges they've faced, things that make them proud, or moments that show their courage and personality. With encouragement and examples, each child will craft a personal narrative that reflects their voice. By the end, students leave with a meaningful story they can continue to develop and share with confidence.
